This is the one I book for an early flight or a late arrival, since it's about as close to the terminal as you'll find without staying in a budget airport chain. Rooms are modern and comfortable, there's a proper restaurant and bar on site if you land too late for anything else to be open, and check-in is straightforward even after a long day of travelling. Handy if you're flying from Newcastle rather than driving further afield.

Newcastle Airport also has a direct Metro link into the city centre, so if your trip includes a night in town as well as a flight, you're not stuck out by the runway the whole time.
If you're leaving your car for a few days, it's worth checking whether a park-and-stay package works out cheaper than paying for airport parking on its own.
